Gary Paul Nabhan is an internationally-celebrated nature writer, agrarian activist, and ethnobotanist on faculty at the Southwest Center in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences. Among his more than 30 authored or edited books is ¡Tequila! A Natural and Cultural History, with Ana G. Valenzuela-Zapata, the leading agronomist in Mexico’s tequila industry.
