Tohono O’odham Tradition Bearers

Regina Siquieros is Tohono O’odham. She’s now retired and enjoying retirement since April 2019. She spent years as a classroom teacher and coordinated substance abuse programs, has served as the Senior Coordinator for the American Indian Languages Development Institute (AILDI) at the University of Arizona, and as a Government Affairs Assistant for the Chairman and Vice Chairwoman of the Tohono O’odham Nation. Her extensive knowledge of the O’odham culture has been exemplified by the traditional songs, stories and the arts she shares with both O’odham and non-O’odham audiences.
