Assistant Professor of Practice, Human Rights Practice Programs

Mette Brogden is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Human Rights Practice at the University of Arizona’s Online Programs in Human Rights Practice. She has nearly two decades of experience in the field of refugee resettlement and immigration issues, having overseen the resettlement over 6,000 refugees into the United States as well as working on migration solutions in the two corridors examined in this course.  In 2019 she co-founded and serves as advisor to World Institute of Africa Culture and Traditions in northern Ghana (www.wiactghana.org), which works on migration solutions in Africa.
