Amalia Mora

Dr. Amalia Mora will be the coordinator in the classes Documenting Human Rights Abuses Through Forensic Anthropology  and Human Rights Crises during COVID -19 and will facilitate the access of the course materials, lead the discussion board, and host synchronous video conferences throughout each course. Amalia is Manager for Innovation and Engagement in the Consortium on Gender-Based Violence in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and has taught a course on the ‘me too movement’ in India and the US twice in the HRTS program. She holds a PhD in ethnomusicology from UCLA and her research examines the intersection of gender-based violence/women’s rights and performance.
