Build a Social Media Strategy that Works
According to Pew Research, a typical American now uses at least three different social media platforms. It has never been easier to communicate directly with a large audience, yet difficulties persist: How do you find the people you want to reach online? How can you make use of social media as a communication tool in an authentic, engaging way? This course will explore the trends, drawbacks, and ever-changing landscape of social media, teaching you actionable ways to use social media platforms to communicate directly with the people who matter most.
Each four-hour class will incorporate two hours of instruction followed by two hours of hands-on lab work (including surveys, interviews, data analysis, and strategy development).
Each participant is required to bring a laptop computer for the lab work portion of class.
A finalized syllabus and more information about how and where to access reading assignments will be available prior to the beginning of the course, per instructors’ directions.
