Language, Mind, and Brain
Additional seats for community members are available now. Registration will be open until all seats are filled, at which time we will meet our maximum capacity for community members. This seven-week course will use language as a lens into the human mind and brain, exploring how language and other mental abilities are based on a combination of genetic capacities, maturation, experience, and physical constraints. It will tackle how language science reflects basic philosophical issues concerning the mind and thought.
A finalized syllabus and more information about how and where to access any reading assignments will be available prior to the beginning of the course, per instructors’ directions.
